Shane Dignum was born in Santa Monica, CA in 1988. Shane began working in the film industry in 2007. In 2014, he joined the Directors Guild of America and began working as an assistant director.
While working in the film industry, Shane also began his career in photography. He has traveled the U.S. extensively with his 8x10” view camera, documenting landscapes, industry and most recently people.
In 2019, Shane married his wife, Amber. They live in the mountains of Southern California. There he practices traditional, silver-gelatin printmaking, which he makes in his own darkroom. He is also an accomplished studio furniture maker. His studio is a one-man shop in which he designs and builds one-of-a-kind furniture pieces for clients across the United States.
